We are thrilled to present Missie Jordan, the star and headliner. Her dedication to the art of performance is unparalleled, with a career spanning over 30 years as a professional singer, actress, and comedian.
Missie brings extensive industry experience to our stage. She has performed in various bands and theatrical productions, sharing the stage with acts like The Lettermen, Pointer Sisters, and Three Dog Night.
Missie has performed roles such as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Chelsea in On Golden Pond, and lead vocalist in My Way, Swing, American Cabaret, and Chicago. Her venues include the Orlando State Fair and the Titanic Museum. She currently performs throughout Florida with her seven-piece band, Krossing Jordan.
In our show Pure Imagination, Gertie takes the stage in the second half. Her hugely popular comedic persona is an eccentric, zany older female character known for humorous, sometimes confused takes on modern life. An upbeat, bold, and opinionated character with a strong Brooklyn accent — a retired woman who speaks her mind and finds herself in amusing situations due to misunderstandings of contemporary culture and technology. Inspired by Carol Burnett, her comedy is rooted in observational anecdotes offering a relatable, light-hearted perspective on aging and societal changes. As of 2026, the character Gertie continues to blossom. She appears throughout The Villages area and is available for corporate events and private parties.
